Foley's has been part of Lexington since 1858. Today the landmark on Huron Avenue is fully restored and open, with a chef-driven sandwich counter from Carlos Parisi and Mike Finsilver, an in-market bar pouring Detroit City Distillery, a full tobacconist, and shelves stocked with craft beer, wine, spirits, fresh salads, dips, and specialty grocery finds. Eight handcrafted sandwiches, made to order, starting at $8. Everything else worth taking home is a few steps away.

Foley's Sandwiches

Eight sandwiches, each one named and each one built with intention. The counter is led by Carlos Parisi of Aunt Nee's and Detroit Sandwich Week fame alongside Chef Mike Finsilver of Tall Trees Cafe in Ferndale, who brought the same ingredient-forward approach that made them standouts in the city.

The Gertrude layers prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with sunflower pesto on focaccia. The Sleeper stacks mortadella, salami, prosciutto, and provolone. The Lorenzo keeps it vegetarian with grilled artichoke, olive salad, and roasted red pepper spread. Fresh salads and dips round out the case.
